In this journey called “life” there are twist and turns, routes, paths and exists that we will all take as we continue to fulfill the purpose that we are uniquely designed for. If I may say we are caught in the rhythm of becoming… come on say it with me in your preaching voice… ” I’m not who I used to be and not quite what I’m going to be” As I reflect on my life experiences I have hit a dry place in life you know it is like being stuck in a hard place starting from birth and in between my destiny. It is my dash, right in there middle of life, I’m in the meanwhile coming from the drama zone entering into a cataclysmic pathway that only leads to my destiny. When you start to feel your life falling apart by the seams and begin to wonder what have I done so wrong to deserve this place of brokenness. Believe it or not I don’t know if this is an opportunity to blame it on Satan. I see the hand of God taking away all my ability to control and engineer the process. This place of brokenness has left me powerless, changing my language of achievement to that of surrender, trust and vulnerability. It is our natural human instinct to try to correct what’s wrong, but what happens when you have dotted every “I” and crossed every “T”? I share the desperate cry for God’s help just as David the Psalmist in Psalm 69:1-3 Save me O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulfs me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail looking for God. Right in that moment I realized that I can not control God not even with my display of good deeds. I’m learning that in order to get through this process I am going to need Wisdom! If I had to define wisdom it is the application of information, education and revelation for an appropriate situation.
Wisdom is one of the key principle for successful living, It encompass both spiritual and natural knowledge…. Wisdom is the core of our being, it is the matter of the heart.
Everyone has wisdom it is something that God has placed inside of us that He will use to pull out of us when a problem arises. And with godly wisdom follows wealth. It elevates us above what you see in the natural. Wisdom is used to stretch us where we have not been that will ultimately stretch us to where we need to be…I’ve learned that in this broken place, I have the wisdom and capacity to handle all that comes my way. In addition, as I move forward on this journey called life I must remember that every step that I take with God will lead me to three important places 1. A new level of knowledge of God 2. New knowledge of myself and thirdly a new knowledge of people….
My prayer for you is to take inventory of yourself if you lack wisdom ask of God and know that he would give it to you liberally without reproach…Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever Amen…. Evangelist Sakinah O’ Kane- Smith~ An Illustration of God’s Design
