John 5:16- 17, So the Jewish leader began harassing, Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules. 17) But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I”
Jesus heals a man on the Sabbath at the Pool of Bethseda. Jesus asked the man a very important question who had been lying by the pool of Bethseda for thirty-eight years: Do You want to be made whole? In other words, do you care enough about your problem to do something about it- even if it requires on your part some action, effort, sacrifice, or even suffering? The first step in overcoming your problem whether it is emotional, physical or spiritual is to admit that you are in need and desire change. Just as the man and many of us who are in need answered the Lord with self-pity. Jesus sees you in need of help and sends a willing person to help do you play the victim role, and say there is no hope for me or nobody love me? Let me keep it real with you if you keep that attitude it is unlikely to experience healing. In his glory, Jesus is gracious and knows your deepest desires, he cuts through your pity party and challenges you to “Get Up”, you don’t have time to wait for people to pity you “Get up” take your problem and move, surrender it to me and give me access to the un-surrender area in your life and let me heal you. Jesus always drops some heavy knowledge on us when he says, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself, and He does only what he sees the Father doing, Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.
Every waking moment of life the Father and His son is working, no vacations, no rest, Just waiting for access to those areas you need healing in. Do not neglect Jesus gracious gift to heal you. The man was not only healed physically, but his sins were forgiven and healed spiritually. This is what Jesus means to be “Whole” he leave nothing undone if you let him in. If you desire a touch from the Lord, then I encourage you to ask yourself if you are ready to experience change and willing to do something about your situation. You will experience healing when you let God know you are obedient to His will and eager to do whatever it takes for you to be whole. He will send Jesus in the form of a person, a verse from His Word, or a new thought in your mind. Don’t Wait! Do what God tells you to do, He made you, and He knows how to fix precisely what is broken within You!
My brother and sister I encourage you to walk firmly away as did the man with his mat under his arm and testifying “Jesus Healed Me.” When God power brings about positive change in your life, don’t let doubters convince you these changes are only coincidence or a twist of fate. Our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus is always working to prove doubters that we serve a living God that still able to heal and deliver us….Walk in your Healing!

Psalm 34:18– The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
The troubles of life do not discriminate and for that reason we can’t escape them when they invade our lives. Isn’t funny how trouble always comes knocking at your door at the most inopportune time. I mean I was just happy about getting over the last trouble and here you come again. I know I am not by myself! Can I get an Amen Somebody?
The pain we endure, the grief and loss we suffer, the failure we have to live through, the daily frustrations of everyday life is constantly wearing us down. God promises us hope and he says He will be close to the brokenhearted. I know when I am feeling broken inside, I feel this overwhelming sense of abandonment and isolation, BUT God said he will be with us. There is nothing like being in the presence of God when you are in pain. In His presence there is a source of power that is unexplainable. I know, I know what you are saying, Rev. Sakinah you don’t know what I am going through and God ain’t thinking about me, and if He is thinking about me… what is taking Him soooo long to deliver me out of this mess? Well, can I ask how did it take you to get in your mess? When trouble strikes, don’t take matters into your own hands and then get frustrated with God when things don’t go according to your plan. Instead, admit that you need God and thank Him for being by your side!

Psalm 51:6 –Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place
If “Truth” be told we all desire healing in our hearts, it is in the abundance of our hearts that the mouth speaks. The Hebrew translation for inner parts is parallel to the Heart. King David mourns over his sinful acts of killing Bathsheba’s husband Urriah and more over, it cost him the life of his son. David acknowledges his sin should not be excused. He knew from the womb his(inner parts) what was the right behavior to do instead he failed to obey what is lawful with God. David not only seeking forgiveness but he was seeking divine instructions. Can I ask you today, to use your sanctified minds and just consider David’s request for the Truth was a divine expectation of instruction to be internalized so that he may be taught the wisdom of God.
The sincerity and true self-discernment which God requires can only come of spiritual insight. Our spiritual discernment which is synonymous with the fear of Jehovah, in addition is the practical principle of right conduct. Where should backsliding children return, but to the Lord their God, who alone can heal them? Truth is necessary for the real healing to flow. David divinely teaches an account of the workings of his heart toward God. Those that truly repent of their sins, will not be ashamed to own their repentance. He is encouraged, in his repentance, to hope that God would graciously accept him. Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; to this God looks, in a returning sinner. God wants to place truth over your wounds. Where there is truth, God will give wisdom.
